School of Listening to God

Degree in Listening to God (30 credits)

The School of Listening to God aims to equip students with the skills and spiritual discipline needed to hear and respond to God’s voice. Each of the ten courses lasts 10 weeks and includes required readings, bibliographies, assignments, applications, and a final project.

Introduction to the importance of listening to God in a believer's spiritual life. Students will develop daily silent prayer practices and document personal experiences of hearing God’s voice.

Explore scriptures that emphasize listening to God and its connection to obedience. Students will create a teaching outline to guide others on the biblical foundations of listening to God.

Identify and overcome personal and spiritual barriers that hinder hearing God’s voice. Students will prepare a workshop on strategies to remove obstacles to listening.

Understand how prayer facilitates listening and discernment. Students will establish a prayer routine incorporating silence and develop a guide on prayer strategies for listening.

Learn to listen to God’s voice through His Word, focusing on meditation and memorization of scripture. Students will develop a Bible study plan to encourage others in scriptural listening.

Incorporate listening to God into everyday life, creating habits that foster continual hearing and obedience. Students will create a guide for living a lifestyle of listening to God.
